Dear Audubon Parents,
You’re invited to celebrate a special occasion in your child's life while supporting the Audubon library! We are excited to introduce the Celebration Book Club. This optional program allows you to make a monetary donation to help maintain and update our school’s library collection. Please note that we are not accepting book donations for this program.
Your donations will be used to purchase new books that align with the interests and needs of our library users. By joining the Celebration Book Club, your child will choose a book from a selection of pre-purchased new titles to be donated to our library in their honor. The selection will take place during a month between October and May, and a special label will be placed inside the book recognizing your child’s celebration. Your child will be the first to check out the new book, which will then become part of our library collection for all to enjoy!
Please note: if you want to celebrate your child’s August-September birthday, then choose October for month your child selects a new book. If your child’s birthday is between June-July, then choose May as your child’s book selection month (the book label will reflect the correct b-day month).
The membership fee is $20. Please provide cash (exact amount) or a check made out to Audubon Elementary School, noting “Celebration Book Club” in the memo. Complete the form on the back of this letter for each child participating. If you have multiple children, one check for the total amount is acceptable.
Return the form(s) along with your payment in an envelope addressed to: Audubon Celebration Book Club. Early submission is appreciated to facilitate processing, as it takes time to order, catalog, and label new books. The deadline for submissions is the end of April.
