Audubon Elementary hosts Kindness Day to unite students

Kindness Day at Audubon Elementary

The PTSA at Audubon Elementary hosted Kindness Day to unite students and promote love and acceptance in their school community. The evening featured an array of entertainment and activities for students and families to explore, including interactive booths with art activities and a hot cocoa stand followed by a magic show.

"Our goal is to spread love and inclusiveness by creating a memorable night for all students and families to enjoy," said Zahra Eslami, Audubon’s PTSA Vice President Outreach Coordinator. "While academic growth is important to encompass, developing 'soft skills' are equally crucial. That is why I firmly believe it is essential for us to host these DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) events regularly as a way to bring the community together."
